Farmers in the area of La Geria, covered in volcanic rock, have been using a unique cone-shaped method to grow grapes for centuries, and the unique vineyards in this region are definitely worth seeing. Spend a very enjoyable day hopping from tasting to tasting at a number of wineries around the region. 

Dining in Lanzarote

Are you interested in good food? Head out to the Timanfaya National Park to get a look at the awesome volcano and lava fields. You can have your steak and fish cooked on volcanic rock heated by the lava underneath. By adding water, a discharge of steam is produced that’ll cook your meal just the way you like it. If you aren’t feeling too adventurous, then finding a local tapas restaurant is the best option. Don’t forget to try mojo potatoes, the national dish of Lanzarote.
