Best swimming beaches?

El Jablillo and Playa Bastion have the calmest waters in Costa Teguise, as both are protected from Lanzarote’s brisk winds. The latter has more facilities and is super-sheltered.

Is there an aquapark?

Yes indeed. Kids will love the abundance of slides, flumes and pools for all ages. Go early to beat the queues, and pack a picnic and UV tops.

Where can I shop?

Costa Teguise’s main square is the site of the regular market. Work up an appetite while soaking up the atmosphere browsing artisan crafts, food, fashion and souvenirs.

The magical Cactus Garden, developed, like much of the island, by César Manrique, showcases these prickly plants, with thousands of different species to see. It’s nearby and inexpensive.
