Playa Blanca Holidays

Paradise, with added cocktails

On Playa Blanca holidays, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d landed in paradise. On the southernmost tip of the island, this popular Lanzarote resort has long sandy beaches that appear on many a postcard from the Canaries. In the bright blue waters, locals fish for octopus and dorada, and holidays to Playa Blanca are perfect for sun-drenched beach days spent lazing under a parasol, and family fun in the year-round sunshine.

The fishing village that Playa Blanca was built around still survives in the area around the church and is great for a wander. Meanwhile, the eastern end of Playa Blanca has the lively Marina Rubicon, with its clutch of smart cocktail bars and fine-dining restaurants, all with exceptional seafront views. For evenings of dancing and singing, holiday favourites such as karaoke and clubbing are found further into town in the Centro Comercial.
