Cheap flights to  Lampedusa

The largest of three islands making up the poetically named Pelagie archipelago in the Mediterranean – alongside Linosa and Lampione – Lampedusa is also the southernmost part of Italy. Technically, it’s closer to Tunisia, and culturally there’s an unmistakable African influence. The real draw is the beaches, and even moreso the exquisite wildlife. Take Spiaggia dei Conigli, which confusingly means ‘rabbit beach’ (look out for the rabbit signs), despite being much better known as a prime breeding spot for rare loggerhead sea turtles. Visit the Sea Turtle Recovery Center to learn all about them and show some love.
