The city centre is one bustling with trendy bars, designer and boutique stores, cinemas, state of the art offices, and stunning, modern apartment blocks.

Come in spring or autumn for cooler climes, perfect for sightseeing and shopping.

Avoid the crowds

The hometown of The Beatles and an important maritime city, lively Liverpool attracts visitors all year round. It can get especially crowded in the summer months, though, when temperatures heat up and the price of accommodation rises. Avoid school holidays and Christmas and you’ll sidestep the biggest crowds.
