Cala Vinas Holidays

A majestic Majorcan beach break

Even if you don’t venture far from the beautiful beach, Cala Vinas holidays are really quite special. As well as shallow turquoise waters, fine white sand and the shade of tropical palms, this sheltered cove even comes with its own microclimate thanks to the surrounding cliffs and pine forests. But if can tear yourself away from the sunlounger, there’s plenty to keep you occupied.

Holidays to Cala Vinas stand out because of their broad appeal. Young families are spoilt for choice with plenty of local water sports, theatre shows and fun day trips to enjoy. Couples will also love the area’s brilliant seafood restaurants and shopping scene. And if anyone’s in the mood to party, the world-famous nightclubs of Magaluf are just a couple of kilometres away. At least you’ll have the glorious beach to aid your recovery the morning after.

Your Cala Vinas questions, answered

Very unlikely. The beach is extremely child-friendly, while nearby water parks and a pirate theatre show will keep even the most impatient little ones occupied.
Unusually, the beach is almost as wide as it is long – 60 metres by about 80 metres – and although hugely popular, it rarely seems full.
Less than a kilometre from Cala Vinas is the pristine cove of Cala Falco, which is a very popular spot with scuba divers and snorkellers.
