    Skiathos has a typical Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters. Sea temperatures average around 23C from June right through to October, while April is the driest month. 
    Skiathos Town comes alive at night. You’ll discover plenty of buzzing cocktail bars tucked away in its charming streets. There’s also a great LGBTQ+ scene – try De Facto bar, which is close to the harbour.
    Most flights from the UK take between 3-4 hours.
    Greek is the native language on the island, but tourism is such an important part of the local economy that most people speak excellent English.
