A golden curl in southern Sharm

Wander around the corner from Hadaba and you'll encounter the winsome curve of gold that is Maya Bay. This pretty enclave in southern Sharm El Sheik sits just in front of the Old Market and beside the port. A Holiday to Maya Bay will give you a laid-back beach scene with a touch of culture.

Upon Maya Bay's warm sands you'll find plenty of resorts and restaurants. Non-guests can spend a day at their facilities for a fee. There's several public beaches too, with areas that are better for swimmers nearest to the port while divers should head to the end closest to Hadaba for the fantastic Ras Katy Reef. Once the sun starts to go down, practice your haggling skills at the Old Souk. There's lots of great value local eateries by the market so come in the late afternoon and stay for dinner.
