What’s the beach like?

Kolymbia beach is around 2 kilometres long and mostly sandy, making it popular with families and local walkers alike, although it rarely gets crowded.

When is best to go?

With temperatures reaching the early 30s in peak summer, Rhodes is great for sunbathers. For sightseeing, spring and autumn are still warm and comfortable.

Is there nightlife?

Kolymbia has a few bars but a fairly tranquil vibe. If partying is what you’re after, the bright lights of Faliraki are just 20 minutes away.

Visit the Seven Springs
Long ago, people used to believe that the water flowing from these natural springs had magical healing properties. Walk through the waterfall’s long tunnel to see an impressive lake.
Climb the holy hill
The walk up to the Byzantine Tsambika Monastery can be a challenge on a hot day, but the incredible views from the top are well worth the trek.
