A Cretan gem of two halves

If you can’t decide between a peaceful break or a livelier beach-based trip, you don’t need to – both are yours for the taking on Gouves holidays. On the north coast of Crete, you actually get two resorts for the price of one. There’s the relaxed yet buzzy village of Kato Gouves, and Pano Gouves, a traditional village just south of the beach.

You’ll find all the peace and quiet you could ask for in scenic Pano Gouves, while Kato Gouves can provide everything else, from global cuisine and cocktail bars to supermarkets and car hire. And there are plenty of beaches fringing the long coastal strip. You’re bound to find one that suits, whether you’re looking to swim, sunbathe or have fun with the family. So for a stress-free time while you’re away, holidays to Gouves are the ideal choice. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t want an easy life when on holiday?
