Tunisia’s Mediterranean coast is blessed with miles of fabulous beaches but there’s more to the country than this. Five of the Star Wars films were filmed here - the real-life town of Tataouine gave George Lucas an extra dollop of inspiration - and tours are on offer to all the filming locations. You don’t even need to dress up like a Jawa to join one – though the dunes of the Sahara might tempt you to saddle up your camel to enjoy the sunset over the sand sea.
