The Portuguese Government has granted residents of Madeira and the Azores a subsidy for flights flown on one of the following routes (you may recognise the airport codes on your ticket):
- Funchal to Lisbon (FNC → LIS)
- Lisbon to Funchal (LIS → FNC)
- Funchal to Porto (FNC → OPO)
- Porto to Funchal (OPO → FNC)
- Porto to Porto Santo (OPO → PXO)
- Porto Santo to Porto (PXO → OPO)
- Lisbon to Porto Santo (LIS → PXO)
- Porto Santo to Lisbon (PXO → LIS)
To claim the subsidy, you must obtain a confirmation letter from easyJet stating that the flights have been booked and flown.
To get your payment confirmation, all you need to do is sign in, choose the option "view bookings" from the menu dropdown, and select the booking for which you wish to request the confirmation letter. From there, you can find the option to request payment confirmation under the Payment Details section.
You'll receive an email containing a PDF at the email address used to make the booking if you are entitled to one

In the 'Your question' section please state that you wish to obtain a confirmation letter for the purposes of claiming the Madeira subsidy discount and provide the following information:
- Flight date
- Flight number
- Departure airport
- Arrival airport
- Número de Identificação Fiscal (NIF) for each passenger entitled to claim the subsidy
Please allow 28 days to receive your discount letter after we’ve received your request. If there are multiple passengers on one booking please note that one confirmation letter, to cover all passengers, will be sent to the address provided in the booking.
